“Rick was engaged to run the entertainment for our Queen's Birthday Tournament Social we hosted this year. This was an important event for us as it was our 75th Jubilee year. Our event was based in Wellington and Rick is based in Auckland. We asked Rick to provide his DJ services for approximately 3 hours on the night of the event and also an hour or so the day before to test out the equipment that we hired.

Rick did a STELLAR job in keeping up the communication prior to the event and confirming all details. As our group had minimal knowledge in the technical side of things including what sound equipment or lighting equipment we needed, we were very impressed with Rick's guidance and expertise he provided.

As Rick was travelling to Wellington for the event and to play on the night, phone communication was key and he was always available for us when we needed him. He asked us questions around the type of music we'd like, the age group of those attending and the about the atmosphere we wanted to create. He then used this information to provide us with technical requirements that suited our budget. He even provided us with a list of preferential providers to assist us. He told us approximately how much we'd need to pay it was bang on!

The event was incredibly successful with everyone having a really fantastic time and the dance floor completely full from beginning to end. We ended up having to turn the lights on to get everyone out by the end time as everyone was having such a great time. Rick was an excellent DJ, friendly and co-operative.
